Lord Family's Story

"The Lord family decided to help BB4CK because we wanted to start teaching our children that an important part of living is learning how to give to others. Our children are very fortunate and we never want them to take that for granted or forget to love and take care of those around them.  This is just one small way that we are trying to teach them to be responsible and caring people.

"We chose BB4CK because as a teacher, I see firsthand the benefits of healthy meals for children. If children are going to get the most out of school, they need healthy food to be the best learners they can be. As well, our party will always be at the end of the summer and we thought that it would also be a great way to 'kick start' the school year.

We are amazed at how such small acts of kindness can make such a big difference to not only the people they serve, but to the organizations as well. We are honoured to be part of this wonderful group of people and now feel motivated to continue helping and to try to make an even bigger difference.
