Brodie & Rylee's Story

"Every year we give money to Brown Bagging for Calgary's Kids on our birthdays. We ask our friends to give us two things; five dollars for us (so we can buy something from our wish lists) plus a discretional donation to Brown Bagging. We do this instead of getting presents. We give the donations to Brown Bagging for Calgary's Kids. We raise about $200-$250 per party. This makes about 200 sandwiches that get delivered to schools all over the city. It is so hard to believe that EVERYDAY kids in our city go to school hungry and without lunch. We need lunch to re-fuel so we can play (and learn) ... this is why we give our money to Brown Bagging for Calgary's Kids. We feel warm inside when we give our money to Brown Bagging, thanks Brown Bagging for the opportunity!" - Brodie and Rylee
